VCAL Careers Expo - Melbourne 2011

Holmes Secondary College held its first Careers Expo. The event was
organised and coordinated by the school's Senior VCAL students for the
subject of Personal Development Skills (PDS).
The Expo provided a forum for the VCAL students to share their knowledge about study pathways beyond high school. Throughout the semester each VCAL student had become an expert on a particular field of study and had developed information packs to distribute to their school peers at the Expo. |

On the day Year 11 and 12 students were invited to come along to get information about pathways available to them after high school. They were able to view PowerPoint presentations, gather reading material and ask lots of questions. The event was a great success due to the hard work and commitment of the VCAL students, as well as the enthusiasm of their peers who had come along to support them.
