Profile

David Mustafa was appointed Principal of Holmes Grammar School in November 2008. He came to the organisation bringing over 20 years of teaching experience in both the government and independent sector in schools in Australia and the United Kingdom. Over this time he has taught students at various levels in English, Drama, Communication Studies, History and Music. The quality of his teaching has seen him guide students to perfect study scores at the Victorian Certificate of Education level, including two individual Premier's Awards in the field of Drama.

He also brings a wealth of leadership experience from his most recent school, Scotch College, where he was appointed as both Head of Arthur Robinson Boarding House and Head of Year 9 & 10, a job involving the coordinating of curriculum, pastoral and discipline programmes for over 500 male students. His role in the boarding house included overseeing the welfare and general wellbeing of boarders including many international students.
