Holmes prides itself on offering all of its students a caring and supportive learning environment. The below details of what students can expect from a Holmes during the Holmes student journey. Together, these resources help support student’s learning experience at Holmes.

 

Excellent Facilities

Holmes Institute campuses are centrally located within capital cities with plenty of access to transport, health centres and hospitals. Students have access to computers, wireless networks, printing, photocopying and scanning services on all campuses. All classrooms are modern and air-conditioned with up to date education technologies and audio-visual equipment.

Student Lounges

Holmes Institute provides students with comfortable areas for students to meet with others, relax and for group work. These lounges include kitchen facilities with microwaves and seating areas. Information about social activities occurring around the campus and in the specific city are also provided to enable students to gain a sense of community arguably necessary for student engagement and ultimately success.

Resource Centre/ Library

Holmes also has dedicated library facilities at all its campuses. Holmes libraries are equipped with prescribed books and supplementary resources in the discipline areas that Holmes delivers programmes in.

Airport Transfers

Holmes can arrange for students to be met at the airport by a Holmes representative and safely transferred to their chosen accommodation.

Accommodation

Holmes offers students a range of accommodation options including homestay, hostel, serviced apartments and hotels. Further details will be provided on application.

Welfare of Underage Students

Younger students, i.e. under 18 years of age have access to 24/7 support. Students can contact these emergency numbers to seek assistance regarding their personal safety or wellbeing and to report incidents of actual or alleged sexual, physical or other abuse. Information on who to contact plus other useful information is available in the U18 Student Handbook available here. Students under the age of 18 are required to have a carer who will monitor their welfare and academic progress while in Australia. Further details will be provided on application.
