Profile

Biography

I hold 18 years of professional accounting/business industry experiences, worked as Manager (Accounts), Deputy Manager (Accounts), Assistant Manager (Accounts) and Budget Officer etc. capacities in six different organizations, from a small company to a large oil & gas corporation and around 9 years of accounting/business academic career which put me in a suitable position to teach in the area of business/accounting. I am teaching postgraduate and undergraduate courses (MBA, MBus, MPA, BBus, and BPA) in financial accounting, management accounting, and finance and accounting information systems at Universities in Australia.

Achievement

• Recipient of “Teaching Excellence” award
• Awarded 2 accelerated promotions and special annual salary increment in Petro Bangla for outstanding skills, performance and efficiency
• Secured 1st position in M.Com & B.Com
• Implemented QSP Financials (Enterprise resources planning systems), including the installation and set-up/configuration of all modules. . Trained about 200 officers in 6 different companies/implementation sites on various Modules of ERP Systems and also on new business process /corporate accounting manuals which provided staffs’ with new skills and confidence to work in a new ERP environment
• Being the first Budget Officer of Security Printing Corporation (Bangladesh) Ltd, developed, trained and implemented Budgeting and Budgetary control system and procedures, which resulting in standard procedures.
